The New York Knicks silenced all the detractors by closing out the NBA Finals 4-1 with another great, odds-defying performance win over the San Antonio Spurs 94-90. The Knicks have finally entered the history books by capturing their first championship in over 50 years.

New York, led by series MVP Jalen Brunson, was a team on a mission, striving for redemption from last year’s failure, proved to be the far superior team by the way they dismantled, outplayed and out hustled the Spurs on their home court.

Simply put, as a unit, the Knicks had that never ending hunger that was the driving force pushing them to outperform the Spurs on every facet of the game. The Knicks may have been the third seed entering the Finals but they ran through the Playoffs as the most dominant team every night they stepped foot on that court. Them Boys played with so much poised when things got rough that they managed to turn haters to fans after every series win. Their dominant play and perseverance throughout the Playoffs all the way to the Finals, is exactly how Championship teams are made of and for that we now have the New York Knicks as the NBA Champions of the NBA Season 2026.
