On The Watch “It’s All About Mikey Garcia vs Sergey Lipinets”

IBF Light Welterweight Championship

Last night at the Freeman Coliseum in San Antonio, Texas, undefeated Mikey Garcia (38-0, 30 Kos) captured his 4th World Title in the Light Welterweight Division by successfully defeating Sergey Lipinets (13-1, 10 Kos) by unanimous decision for his IBF Title.

Listen, unanimous decision aside your Boy Mikey had himself a real challenger in Sergey Lipnets. This Dude did not go down without a fight. He came out and dished out just as much as he was taking. The Kid got heart and he proved it last night. Although he came up short Lipnets left a great impression of himself inside that squared circle.

That being said congratulations are in order here for Mikey moving up in weight once again and capturing yet another Title. To me this bout was entertaining from start to finish. The betting odds had Mikey as the favorite but truth be told this bout was a lot closer than what the Judges had it. Real Talk! This was by far one of Mikey’s toughest bouts that I’ve seen him in to date.

Mikey is pushing real hard for that No. 1 spot on that Pound-for-Pound list and the way he’s been going at it since his comeback to the Boxing Game, Dude has been making a legitimate claim as to why he should be mentioned on that list. Real Talk!

Mikey is a proven young warrior with a mission of being mentioned as one of the greatest to ever do it. He is determined to take on the best while still remaining undefeated when it’s all said and done.

As it stands right now if he plays his cards right and stays focus at the plan at hand he has a very good chance of fulfilling his destiny.

Can’t wait to see what your next move will be Champ.

On The Watch “It’s All About Tory Lanez”

Canada has another hidden gem that’s been killing the “airwaves “ worldwide as of late. Tory Lanez is that Kat that’s got the Rap Game and the R&B Game in a choked hold. Real Talk! Tory’s one of those rare talents from up North that’s made his mark in a major way. He’s worked and grinded his way to the States and took the music Game by storm.

From his first mixtape in 2009 to his now second released album Memories Don’t Die; Tory has showed an elevated dedication to his craft that has not gone unnoticed by his peers. Tory has been in high demand as a writer and as a feature from the who’s who in the Game to date. His unique sound and style caters to all.

He’s got the Radio play, the Internet, the Clubs and the Streets on lock. The Kat’s got the goods to go Bars for Bars with the best of them and the right lyrics to serenade your girl while your back is turned away. Real Talk! Listening to his music you can clearly hear and see that he’s studied the Game from the ground up. Old School to New School, he’s a definite scholar of the Game.

Peeps need to seriously start paying attention to this Kat and cop his latest LP “Memories Don’t Die” cause that body of work displayed on that album speaks volume. To get familiar with some of his previous hits peep my DJ Blaze/Tory Lanez takeover set on my mixtapes section and hear how this Kat captivates his fans, worldwide.

On The Watch “It’s All About Deontay Wilder vs Luis Ortiz”

WBC Heavyweight Title Challenge

Last night at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn New York I witness two of the Baddest Heavyweights in the Game put it all on the line in that squared circle and DAMNNN they did not disappoint. REAL TALK!

In my eyes Deontay “Bronze Bomber” Wilder (40-0, 39 Kos) had his one missing defiant bout vs Luis “King Kong” Ortiz (28-1, 24 Kos). Deontay had to fight hard and dig real deep to overcome Ortiz’s experience inside that squared circle.

Shit got real for Big Homey. He quickly found out that Ortiz wasn’t going to be a walk in the park cause Ortiz came to fight by all means necessary. Truth be told Deontay did put “King Kong” down a total of three time in the fight but real talk in round seven in my eyes Ortiz had the upper hand on Wilder, he had the “Bronze Bomber” out on his feet but the man’s heart was pumping hard and would not let him go down. Real talk that bell and the ref saved him on that one. Shit looked bleak for Wilder at that point but like a true Champion that he is my man withstood Ortiz’s best shots and continued to survive round by round until the 10th round and connected on Ortiz not once but twice in that round and “King Kong” got clipped in a devastating fashion. Even when tired, Wilder still possesses that knock out power. Unbelievable.

This bout is exactly what both fighters needed to test themselves. The Best fighting the Best. Ortiz showed up and performed beautifully and should have nothing to be ashamed off, he just happened to meet up with the Baddest Heavyweight in the Game today, in Deontay “Bronze Bomber” Wilder. This man is a serious problem for the Heavyweight Division “Hands Down”

Last night Wilder was tested, showed heart, and actually fought from behind in my eyes to secure his most defiant win in his career to date!

Congratulations Champ and thank you for giving us the fans a hell of a Heavyweight Bout. Keep making history and climbing that mountaintop.
