On the Watch “It’s All About Osleys Iglesias vs Pavel Silyagin”

Vacant IBF Super Middleweight Showdown

At last night’s Eye of The Tiger/DAZN Main Event, undefeated IBO Super Middleweight Champion Osleys “El Tornado” Iglesias (15-0, 14 Kos) picked up another belt when he took on undefeated Pavel Silyagin (16-1, 7 Kos) and completely dominated him at the Montreal Casino in Montreal, Quebec.

School was in session from the fist bell. Osleys understood the task at hand and the reward that was to come. That said, Osleys wasted no time in applying control pressure and systematically breaking down Pavel from head to body. Pavel had a hard time withstanding Osleys power judging by how he was constantly on the move trying to avoid from getting hit but could not evade the predator on the hunt at every angle inside that squared circle.

Pavel, who is known to being a spoiler inside that squared circle could not contest in any form a proper “game plan” to deter or slow down the pressure that Osleys was applying round by round.

This was a one-sided beatdown that had Pavel taking abuse while being on the back foot in every round. The damage that Osleys was administering caused Pavel’s right eye to swell shut early in the bout which caused Pavel to stay in retreat mode as much as he could.

As the rounds progressed, Pavel showed signs of a man defeated, blooded, and deflated to continue any further. Judging by the body language displayed at the completion of round eight, Pavel’s corner decided to pull the plug and call it a night.

With this convincing win under his belt, Osleys Iglesias is now the new IBF Super Middleweight Champion of the World. With the IBF/IBO Championship Titles in his possession, all who avoided him to date will have no choice but to challenge him if they have any aspiration of ever being a Champion.

Congratulations Osleys, you’ve earned this one the right way, now on to bigger and better things.

On the Watch “It’s All About Xander Zayas vs Jaron Ennis”

WBA/WBO Unified Junior Middleweight Showdown

A very intriguing Junior Middleweight Showdown has officially been announced where newly crowned undefeated Unified WBA/WBO Junior Middleweight Champion Xander Zayas (23-0, 13 Kos), who happens to be the youngest Unified Champion in the sport to date and the first Puerto Rican to unify at this Division, is willing to put it all on the line to challenge the former undefeated Unified Welterweight Champion Jaron “Boots” Ennis” (35-0, 31 Kos) at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on Saturday night June 27, 2026, live and exclusive on DAZN PPV.

I’m surprised to see Top Rank match Zayas in so soon with Ennis after recently unifying the Division. This youngin in Zayas, is not moving like them other protected fighters on the way up. Zayas is showing signs of a different breed specifically looking for that smoke with nothing but the biggest challenges in the Division.

That being said, Ennis does not discriminate. He doesn’t care if you’re an old head or a youngin on the come up. Ennis has made it clear that he’s looking to become a Two-Weight Division Unified Champion by any means necessary. Judging by today’s press conference both combatants understand the task at hand.

The trash talk was heavy from both sides as expected but I gotta say hearing that youngin talk that talk to Ennis made this upcoming bout that much more appealing. “Boots” is proclaiming loudly that it’s “time to collect them belts” but the newly crowned Unified Champion Zayas, is proclaiming as well that he’s ready to defend and retain both Titles.

Skill for skill, these two warriors match up very well, but the odd makers will tell you that Ennis is the front runner right now. On fight night, all will be revealed so tune in Saturday night June 27, 2026, live and exclusively on DAZN PPV and see if the youngin can prove the naysayers wrong.

On The Watch “It’s All About Caroline Dubois vs Terri Harper”

WBC/WBO Lightweight Unification

Last night’s MVP/Sky Sports Main Event between WBC Lightweight Champion Caroline Dubois (13-0-1, 5 Kos) and WBO Lightweight Champion Terri Harper (16-3-2, 6 kos) was an intriguing technical bout that took some time to unravel but eventually got going once the rounds started to progress at London’s Olympia.

Dubois’ speed and power were key as she was met with a bigger opponent in size and reach in Harper, who knew exactly how to stick that jab. The first few rounds were slow as both combatants were trying to establish themselves inside that squared circle.

Once Dubois managed to get on the inside pocket of Harper, the landscape of the bout completely changed as Dubois started to work her counterpunches with her speed from close range that started to do some serious damage to Harper’s face and body.

In the sixth round, Dubois was able to land a well-placed left hand that chinned Harper and dropped her to a standing 8 count. It was from that moment that Harper took a step back and looked hesitant in the following rounds and only stood her ground in short spurts.

That being said, Harper did throw caution out the ring in the tenth round and fought toe-to-toe but by that time the end result was already sealed. After 10 completed rounds of action the Judges at hand scored it 98-91, 98-91 and 97-92 unanimously for Dubois.

With this very convincing win under her belt, Dubois unified the Lightweight Division by retaining her WBC Lightweight Title and picking up the WBO Title from Harper and being awarded the Ring Magazine Belt for good measure.

Congratulations Caroline. Well done, you’ve earned this one, hands down!

On The Watch “It’s All About Derek Chisora vs Deontay Wilder”

Heavyweight Showdown

In tonight’s DAZN Main Event, Derek “War” Chisora (36-14, 23 Kos) entered that squared circle in his 50th contest and stayed true to himself and brought the “HEAT” from the first bell when he touched gloves with former WBC Heavyweight Champion Deontay the “Bronze Bomber” Wilder (45-4-1, 43 Kos) at the O2 Arena in Greenwich, London.

Truth be told, this bout wasn’t a pretty fight to watch but both combatants had some flashing moments throughout the bout that kept the fans in attendance entertained. Chisora, the shorter combatant, pressed the action as much as possible to prevent Wilder from detonating on him as everyone expected. This strategy worked at times but the heavy-handed “Bronze Bomber” still managed to land some heavy shots that visibly effected on Chisora.

Nevertheless, Wilder’s power did not deter Chisora from standing his ground and dishing out some damaging shots of his own. As the rounds progressed it was clear that fatigue was playing a big factor on both warriors as there was a lot of holding from both combatants slowing the pace of the fight down.

Chisora did his best at getting to the body of Wilder and crowding him as often as possible to prevent Wilder from catching any type of a rhythm which proved efficient until Chisora eventually got caught by that right hand dropped through the ropes in rounds eight and eleven.

Chisora stood back up after both knockdowns and continued his relentless aggressive attack throwing wild punches from every corner. There was very little display of a technical bout from either combatant but a fight was on full display.

After 12 struggling rounds of action, the Judges at hand scored it 115-112 for Chisora and 115-111 and 115-113 in favor of Wilder giving him a split decision win.

Your thoughts on this one?

On The Watch “It’s All About Sebastian Fundora vs Keith Thurman”

WBC Junior Middleweight Showdown

Last night’s PBC/Prime Video Main Event between WBC Junior Middleweight Champion Sebastian Fundora (24-1-1, 16 Kos) and former Unified Welterweight Champion Keith “One Time” Thurman (31-2, 23 Kos), was another very impressive performance by “The Towering Inferno” at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Keith talked a good game throughout the build-up to this bout but truth be told everybody in the building knew this was going to be a tall task from the jump as both men stood to confront one another inside that squared circle.

With Sebastian standing at a tall 6’5 ½ and Keith pushing 5’8 ½ the writing was already on the wall. As great and experienced Keith was as an opponent, he was severely outsized, outgunned and outmatched from every angle.

This was a one-sided beatdown where Keith was unable to conjure any type of a proper “game plan” to deter Sebastian from having his way with him. Sebastian boxed beautifully using his height and accurate jab effortlessly and cutting off the ring from every angle.

Sebastian’s jab alone was doing a number on Keith’s face and with the added punch output the inevitable was only a matter of time. As Sebastian continued to raise the bar and the action inside that squared circle continued, the referee felt the need to save Keith from any further damage and stopped the fight at the 1:17 mark of the sixth round.

For the first time in his career Keith “One Time” was stopped inside the squared circle by a man in Sebastian, who made it look easyyyyyyy. Real talk!

With this convincing win now under his belt, Sebastian is still standing tall as the WBC Junior Middleweight Champion of the World.

Well done, Champ!

On The Watch “It’s All About Moses Itauma vs Jermaine Franklin”

Heavyweight Showdown

Last night’s Queensberry Promotions/DAZN Main Event between undefeated Heavyweight Moses Itauma (14-0, 12 Kos) and Jermaine Franklin Jr. (24-3, 15 Kos), was another showcase type of an event for the young up-and-coming Heavyweight when he brought the house to their feet at Co-op Arena in Manchester, England. Real Talk!

Moses continued his destructive path without missing a beat when he entered that squared circle and completely annihilated tough and durable Jermaine Franklin by stopping him in the fifth round.

Jermaine had never been stopped before but then again, he hadn’t faced a young hungry warrior of the likes of Itauma. Moses systematically broke down the veteran combatant with ease by landing heavy destructive head shots that were visibly doing damage every time they landed. You could tell from the opening rounds that this was going to be quick night of action.

For a young combatant, Moses’ patience and discipline is key when he’s inside that squared circle. That being said, Jermaine was specifically brought in to test the young warrior but found out after being dropped in the third round by a heavy left hand that this youngin was the truth and a serious problem to solve.

Having felt the youngin’s power early in the bout, the inevitable was on the horizon. Moses continued to apply his controlled aggression with accurate hard punches and eventually connected with a well-placed left uppercut that laid Jermaine out for the count which then prompted the referee to stop the bout in the fifth round.

This was an impressive showing by Moses. Jermaine had gone the distance with both Dillian Whyte and Anthony Joshua in a respectable showing but was unable to withstand the heavy onslaught that Moses Itauma brought on the night.

Well done, Moses. Statement made.

On The Watch “It’s All About Carlos Adames vs Austin Williams”

WBC Middleweight Showdown

Last night’s DAZN/Matchroom Main Event between WBC Middleweight Champion Carlos Adames (25-1-1, 18 Kos) and mandatory challenger Austin “Ammo” Williams (20-2, 13 Kos) was an interesting bout when first announced but quickly turned into a one-sided affair when they finally touched gloves at Caribe Royale in Orlando, Florida.

Due to Adames’ one year layoff from ring action, many boxing pundits anticipated that the younger, fresher and more active fighter in Williams would be too much for Adames but what transpired was far more convincing inside that squared circle. Real Talk!

The trash talk was heavy from both sides during the build-up to this fight but the one who backed every word was Adames. Both combatants came out the gate aggressively trying to dominate one another but the one who made it clear early was Adames when he dropped Williams in the second round with a well-placed right hand to the dome giving him a standing 8 count which set the stage for the remainder of the bout.

School was in session from that point on. Adames boxed beautifully round by round nullifying every aspect of Williams’ game. There are levels to this boxing sh*t and last night Adames showed Williams exactly where he was at in his career. Although Williams had some flashy moments at times, Adames always made sure to let him know who was really controlling the fight.

Adames bullied and lumped up Williams from head to body and from start to finish. After 12 full rounds of a one-sided beatdown, the Judges at hand scored it 118-108, 117-109, 117-109 unanimously for Carlos Adames.

With this convincing and dominating win, Adames retained his WBC Middleweight Title and successfully defended it for the third time.

Well done, Champ. On to the next.

On The Watch “It’s All About Emanuel Navarrete vs Eduardo Nunez”

IBF/WBO Super Featherweight Unification Showdown

Last night’s Matchroom/DAZN Main Event Between WBO Super Featherweight Champion Emanuel “Vaquero” Navarrete (40-2-1, 33 Kos) and IBF Super Featherweight Champion Eduardo “Sugar” Nunez (29-2, 27 Kos) was an impressive performance by the underdog Navarrete, who showed the fans in attendance at Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona, why he’s been a Champion for so long.

Many of boxing’s pundits favoured Nunez and anticipated Navarrete to have his toughest fight to date but what transpired was quite different. Navarrete came in this bout extremely focused and well-conditioned for the task at hand and proceeded to press the action with controlled aggressive boxing and moving from the first bell.

Nunez is a well-schooled tough combatant but, on this night, he was playing catch up with an assassin who was shooting on all cylinders. Nunez had some moments with the body shots but not enough to deter Navarrete from pressing him with some heavy shots.

As good as Nunez attempted to stand his ground and fight toe-to-toe, the consistent onslaught coming his way was severely taking a toll on him. After damaging his eye in the early rounds, the writing was on the wall. The ringside Doctor was on the lookout.

By round 10, the blood continued to pour out of Nunez’s shut right eye as he was brutally taking in some serious abuse. This prompted the ringside Doctor to inspect Nunez’s right eye once again at the beginning of round 11 and advised the referee to stop the bout.

This was a bout where the betting world projected Navarrete to fail but this Champion proved the naysayers wrong by outclassing a formidable Champion Eduardo Nunez on the biggest fight of his career, to now being crowned Unified IBF/WBO Super Featherweight Champion of the World.

Well done, Champ!

On The Watch “It’s All About Fabio Wardley vs Daniel Dubois”

WBO Heavyweight Challenge

A very intriguing Heavyweight showdown has officially been announced where newly crowned WBO Heavyweight Champion Fabio Wardley (20-0-1, 19 Kos) will be looking to have a voluntary first defence of his Championship Title against former IBF Heavyweight Champion Daniel Dubois (22-3, 21 Kos) at Manchester’s Co-op Live Arena on May 9, 2026.

Interestingly, Wardley could have chosen a softer touch for his first title defence but specifically sought out Dubois as he is one of the most dangerous opponents available and the one that would give him an even better look once he adds that conquest to his resume.

Wardley is a real Warrior looking to be taken seriously in the Heavyweight Division so looking for an easy roll out is not in his present DNA. This bout is being billed as “Don’t Blink” due to the fact that both combatants pack some heavy heat and have proven in the past to do some serious damage to their opponents.

The 95% knockout ratio they both carry speaks volumes, hence the intrigue. My question is which combatant will be able to withstand each other’s heavy onslaught when the going gets tough inside that squared circle?

This championship bout is set to be a 12 round competition but truth be told, with these two heavy- handed combatants gracing that squared circle Saturday night May 9, 2026, at Manchester’s Co-op Live Arena, anticipate a quick and destructive outcome.

On The Watch “It’s All About Claressa Shields vs Franchon Crews-Dezurn”

Undisputed Heavyweight Showdown

Last night’s Salita Promotion/Kings Promotion/DAZN Main Event was another showcase of an event for the self-proclaimed “GWOAT” IBF/WBA/WBC/WBF/WBO Undisputed Heavyweight Champion Claressa Shields (18-0, 3 Kos) who defended her crown against Unified WBA/WBC Super Middleweight Champion Franchon Crews-Dezurn (10-3, 2 Kos), in a rematch of their 2016 professional debut but this time they brought the house to their feet at the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan. Real Talk!

Franchon “The Heavy Hitting Diva” stayed true to her moniker and went it gunz blazing with them heavy hands trying to take Claressa’s head off right from the jump at the first bell but Claressa held her ground and fought fire with fire dishing out the same heat and not letting herself get bullied in the opening round.

Franchon set the pace early with her aggressive output but Claressa matched her energy at every corner and hit her up with the right combinations to let her know things wasn’t going to be this easy to take her out of her comfort zone.

Both combatants banged hard and stood toe-to-toe but as the rounds progressed you could see Franchon losing steam in her punches and her output and was taking in a lot more abuse from Claressa who was still sharp and active with her hands.

Claressa separated herself round by round and showed levels above Franchon as she boxed and banged all the way through the 10 official rounds. Things didn’t look all that pretty inside that squared circle but when it was all said and done, the Judges at hand saw it as a one-sided affair and scored it unanimously 100-90 on the panel.

Franchon was a “GAME” fighter from the jump but truth be told that pace she tried to keep up with was simply too much for her to deal with, having Claressa on the opposite side.

With this dominant performance by Claressa, she retained her IBF/WBA/WBC/WBF/WBO Undisputed Heavyweight Championship Tittles, and has her still looking for that challenge.
