On the Watch “It’s All About Xander Zayas vs Jaron Ennis”

WBA/WBO Unified Junior Middleweight Showdown

A very intriguing Junior Middleweight Showdown has officially been announced where newly crowned undefeated Unified WBA/WBO Junior Middleweight Champion Xander Zayas (23-0, 13 Kos), who happens to be the youngest Unified Champion in the sport to date and the first Puerto Rican to unify at this Division, is willing to put it all on the line to challenge the former undefeated Unified Welterweight Champion Jaron “Boots” Ennis” (35-0, 31 Kos) at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on Saturday night June 27, 2026, live and exclusive on DAZN PPV.

I’m surprised to see Top Rank match Zayas in so soon with Ennis after recently unifying the Division. This youngin in Zayas, is not moving like them other protected fighters on the way up. Zayas is showing signs of a different breed specifically looking for that smoke with nothing but the biggest challenges in the Division.

That being said, Ennis does not discriminate. He doesn’t care if you’re an old head or a youngin on the come up. Ennis has made it clear that he’s looking to become a Two-Weight Division Unified Champion by any means necessary. Judging by today’s press conference both combatants understand the task at hand.

The trash talk was heavy from both sides as expected but I gotta say hearing that youngin talk that talk to Ennis made this upcoming bout that much more appealing. “Boots” is proclaiming loudly that it’s “time to collect them belts” but the newly crowned Unified Champion Zayas, is proclaiming as well that he’s ready to defend and retain both Titles.

Skill for skill, these two warriors match up very well, but the odd makers will tell you that Ennis is the front runner right now. On fight night, all will be revealed so tune in Saturday night June 27, 2026, live and exclusively on DAZN PPV and see if the youngin can prove the naysayers wrong.

On the Watch “It’s All About Jaron Ennis vs Uisma Lima”

Junior Middleweight Showdown

Last night’s Matchroom/DAZN Main Event between former Unified Welterweight .Champion Jaron “Boots” Ennis (35-0, 31 Kos) and Uisma Lima (14-2, 10 Kos), was a statement event where “Boots” announced himself in an aggressive fashion to the 154-Pound Division at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. Real Talk!

Jaron was looking to impress his hometown crowd and that he did at just about 1:58 of the first round by dropping Uisma three times and knocking him out with a barrage of unanswered punches coming in from all angles, quickly prompting the referee to stop the bout and saving Uisma from further damage.

Uisma was caught cold from the jump and didn’t have enough time to recover as Jaron went in for the kill and shut down the show before sending everyone on attendance home happy with the outcome. No need for the Judges on this night.

With this impressive win now under his belt, Jaron picked up the Interim Junior Middleweight Belt positioning himself in line to challenge the full Champion Abass Baraou (17-1, 9 Kos).

That being said, Jaron has made it be known that he’s looking to take over the 154-Pound Division and is looking at all the champions or top contenders – anyone of them can get it.

Statement made and heard!

On the Watch ” It’s All About Jaron Ennis vs Juan Carlos Abreu”

Welterweight Showdown

The coming of age of the Welterweight contender Jaron “Boots” Ennis (26-0, 24 Kos) was on full display on last night Premier Boxing Champions Showtime Boxing card at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut when he stopped Juan Carlos Abreu (23-6-1, 21 Kos) in the sixth round.

Jaron, who was up against a tough and sturdy veteran in Juan made it look really easy. To me it felt like I was watching a glorified sparring session. Jaron controlled every round from the jump. Jaron showed good patience throughout the rounds and displayed some impressive power along with a crisp jab from both hands.

Overall, Juan was simply out gunned and out classed by a superior boxer that had his number from the time the bell rung. It was only a matter of time before Jaron pulled the plug and ended the show in the sixth round by dropping Juan twice in the round with some heavy combination shots to call it a night. Real Talk!

Jaron has been putting the Welterweight Division on notice for a minute now and his time is here. Jaron is the full package. The kid got the goods and deserves a shot at any one of the Champions in the 147-Pound Division.

The Welterweight Division is blazing as of late with some serious talent and your boy “Boots” Ennis wants next.

Who will be the first Champion to oblige the young hungry lion?
