NBA Western Conference Finals
The highly anticipated Western Finals the world was looking for in “The Bubble” between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Los Angeles Clippers has been scratched due to the unbelievable play the Denver Nuggets displayed last night. Throughout the Playoffs series The Nuggets have been defying the odds and making NBA History as the first NBA team to come back not once but twice in postseason play against the Utah Jazz and the Los Angeles Clippers from, 3-1 series deficit to win three straight games and advance to the Western Conference Finals. Nuff said!
I’ve said this before and I will say it again, the Western teams are way too competitive on any given night to be overlooked by any team competing in “The Bubble” and the 3rd Seeded Nuggets are proof of that.
The Nuggets have earned the right to be in the Western Conference Finals the hard way. They played as a team and never gave up on themselves despite having to come from behind to move forward. Denver is battle-tested and shows no fear when they step foot inside that “Bubble”. Real Talk!
That being said, the veteran Los Angeles Lakers squad led by LeBron James and Anthony Davis have been well rested and waiting on their next opponent to finish up. The Lakers steam rolled their way to the Western Conference Finals with an 8-2 record in the first two rounds and have looked invincible doing so. Them Boys are swagged up and have met no real resistance as of yet. Things could be different if Denver continues their search for respect inside “The Bubble” and stunt on them Lakers the only way they know how by playing smart, good team basketball and trusting each other when the going gets though.
The odd makers have the Lakers on top, but the Nuggets have changed the narrative every round so far. This Denver squad competing in “The Bubble” are relentless and defiant as they come. Denver has adopted and adjusted their style of play series by series per their competition.
The Lakers have always had the “Laker Show” to attract their fans to tune in but real talk, the Denver Nuggets have been must see TV in “The Bubble” from the jump and for that alone we should all give an audience and see how this Western Conference Finals unravels.
So, tune in this Friday September 18, 2020 and witness the drama develop.
