On The Watch “It’s All About Manny Pacquiao vs Jeff Horn”

WBO Welterweight Champion
Once again, I witness with my own eyes another highly scandalous unanimous decision for the challenger. REAL TALK! On Saturday night July 1, 2017, in a fight televised on ESPN Boxing at the Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane, Australia, the unimaginable but not impossible occurred. Jeff Horn (17-0-1, 11 Kos) the homegrown fighter took it to Manny Pacquiao (59-7-2, 38 Kos) and stole the show “literally speaking “ from right under his feet.
It was a much tougher fight then most including me anticipated it to be. Horn came out the gate with the Guns blazing, roughing up Pacquiao and at times trying to bully him with his weight advantage. Pacquiao clearly got caught off guard at first but as the fight wore on the savvy veteran clearly felt he did enough to secure the win. The ninth round was noticeably evident of that when Pacquiao nearly stopped Horn in that round.
The referee instructed Horn and his corner that if he didn’t step his game up he will stop the fight. At that point, it was clear Horn was taking too much abuse from Pacquiao. His work rate and accuracy over Horn’s roughhouse tactics were quite apparent. Now with that being said I’m not sure if the three Judges scoring the fight that night were watching the same two fighters. The Judges scores after the full 12 rounds were 117-111, 115-113 and 115-113 for the New WBO Welterweight Champion Jeff Horn. WOW!!
Horn stepped up to the plate and gave his fans a good show but truth be told Pacquiao may not have been at his best that night but he definitely did not lose that fight. REAL TALK! Unanimous decision?? Them Judges were compromised nuff said. These are the type of dramatic scoring that give Boxing a bad reputation. REAL TALK! This trend needs to stop. Your thoughts on this one?

On The Watch “It’s All About The Champ Is Here!”

After a so-called controversy on the scorecards from their first go around, Andre Ward (32-0, 16 KOs) once again stayed true to himself and vowed to beat Sergey Kovalev (30-2-1, 26 KOs) in a far more decisive way and keep the Judges out of it. On Saturday night June 17 2017, Andre S.O.G. Ward did what many thought was probably an impossible task and that was to stop Sergey Kovalev. REAL TALK!
Andre stepped his game up and put the “paws” on him in the eight round and “Bodied” Kovalev literally to a point where Kovalev was hurt and had stopped defending himself in which at this point the referee jumped in and stop the fight without a standing 8 count. Now people will complain about the early stoppage and the borderline body shot, but truth be told Ward worked Kovelev over and over in such a defiant fashion you gotta give Ward his props for doing what many could have never imagined happening to Kovalev and that’s stopping the “Krusher” for the first time in his career. REAL TALK!
The Pound-For-Pound List better have your Boy Ward as the No.1 Dude after this fight cause your Boy been talking it and walking it like the Champ that he is from Day 1. Now with that being said I gotta keep it real. Andre Ward is still the “Light Heavyweight Champion” holding the IBF/WBA/WBO but to me I feel to really silence the critics about who’s “One Of The Best To Ever Do It” in this Division, Ward needs to holla at Adonis “Superman” Stevenson the Linear WBC Champ and “Unify” all the Belts. Winner takes all and becomes truly the” Undisputed Light Heavyweight Champion” of the World.
The time is right. “S.O.G.” Ward vs “Superman” Stevenson. Who really want it like that? Your thoughts on this one?

On The Watch “It’ All About 2017 NBA Finals Champions”

Redemption is sweet and very rewording for this Golden State Warriors. 16-1 throughout the NBA Finals. Mission accomplished. The Golden State Warriors are now 2 time NBA Champs and the newbie on the Team in Kevin Durant made sure that his addition to the team was going to be worth it all come June. Durant played out of his mind with a determination only he could illuminate.
He definitely proved to all the “naysayers” out there just how valuable he could be come crunch time. Tonight Durant earned his first Larry O’Bryan Trophy and Finals MVP’s Bill Russell Trophy with a humble average of 35.2 points a Game. A feat well deserved. Props still gotta be given to the Defending Champs Cleveland Cavaliers, although the Cavs got done up in 5 Games they put up a hell of a fight REAL TALK!
Lebron pulled off all he could by averaging a Triple –Double throughout the series and Kyrie Irving showed us just how “BAD” this Boy can run circles on that court. The Kid is serious. REAL TALK!
With that being said this Golden State Team played with passion, heart and most of all has a Team. Their level of play throughout the season and the Playoffs showed me just how dominant these kats could be when focus on one common goal. Congratulation Golden State on becoming this Year’s 2017 NBA Champions!
