WBA Middleweight Title Eliminator
Last night at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn New York, Daniel Jacobs (34-2, 29 Kos) secured his WBA Middleweight Title Eliminator position by defeating a worthy contender in Maciej Sulecki (26-1, 10 Kos).
This was an exciting bout from start to finish. Real Talk! This Kat Sulecki may have sounded as an unknown to casual boxing fans but last night he definitely made a name of himself and showed the Middleweight Division that he’s a real -life player to be taken seriously. Although the outcome wasn’t what he had hoped for his aggressive style kept the attention of the fans in attendance.
That being said there are levels to this boxing sh*t and Daniel Jacobs is definitely levels above Sulecki. When the going got a little rough, Jacobs stepped up his game and showed Sulecki why he’s one of the top dogs in the Division. Sulecki was a tough customer who came out the gate ready to fight. The Kat’s got heart with no intention of backing down, but Jacobs is a seasoned warrior who adjusted on the fly and kept steady control of his opponent. It was a back and forth type of fight from round to round but when it was time for the curtain call, Jacobs knocked Sulecki down with a straight right hand in the 12th round with less than minutes left to wrap off the performance. Nuff said.
Jacobs needed a tough outing like this to keep him sharp and ready with that hunger for more. This win makes him a WBA mandatory challenger to Gennady “GGG” Golovkin and gives him another opportunity to redeem himself for his loss to “GGG” by unanimous but controversial decision in a close 12 round title fight back in March 2017.

On The Watch “It’s All About Adonis Stevenson vs Badou Jack”
WBC Light heavyweight Championship
Finally, it has officially been announced. One of the most intriguing match ups in the Light Heavyweight Division between Adonis “Superman” Stevenson (29-1, 24 Kos) and Badou Jack “The Ripper” (22-1,2, 13 Kos) is set to take place Saturday night May 19, 2018 live on SHOWTIME from the Air Canada Centre in Toronto rather than the original location previously planned for Montreal’s Bell Centre.
The WBC and Lineal Light Heavyweight Champion Adonis Stevenson will be making his 9th defense against probably his toughest task to date in Badou Jack, a former WBC Super Middleweight Champion who moved up a weight class to become WBA Light Heavyweight Champion but to later relinquish his title to hunt down Adonis’ prized possession of the WBC Belt.
A lot has been said about Stevenson’s previous opponents to date but this time around peeps are calling Badou Jack a high risk. I simply see it as the best fighting the best. Adonis is not new to this level of a challenge. Dude is the longest reigning Light Heavyweight World Champion for a reason; he knows his way pretty well inside that square circle and carries around a mean and well-known equalizer in the form of his left hand.
As for Badou Jack, this is an incredible opportunity for him to become a three-time World Champion and a chance at dethroning the Champ. He has faced every tough challenge head on to date and a win here would definitely raise his profile and income to the next level. His confidence is at an all-time high and he might carry the skills and the attributes to give Adonis a run for his money, but will he be able to execute the game plan come fight night?
The haters in the boxing community want to see Adonis take an “L” but Real Talk all bullsh*t aside Adonis is hands down one of the best in the Division and a dangerous Champion who knows too well how to finish a fight.
I anticipate nuff action from both fighters come fight night. The Light Heavyweight Division is about to get “shook”. Will “Superman” prevail or will the “Ripper” put him to rest.

What a night!! Last night, Saturday April 21, 2018, Mayweather Promotions and Showtime Premier Boxing Champions delivered us another exciting tripleheader at the Barclays Center, Brooklyn New York. Real Talk!
First up was undefeated Gervonta Davis (20-0, 19 Kos) who became a Two-Time World Champion by annihilating in a devastating fashion Jesus Cuellar (28-3, 21 Kos) to pick up the vacant WBA 130-pound World Championship Belt.
There ‘s level to this Boxing sh*t and this young shooter has been leaps above his competition to date. REAL TALK! It took Gervonta less than 3 rounds to dispose of his worthy opponent. Three knockdowns, heavy accurate power shots and spectacular movement, were just too much for Jesus Cuellar to handle. Gervonta came ready to rumble and performed, as a Champion should.
Gervonta is truly the present and the future of this Super Featherweight Division.
Congratulations Champ on being the youngest Champion to ever do it this good.
Who really wants it next??
In the co-feature, undefeated Jermall Charlo (27-0, 21 Kos) overpowered Hugo Centeno (26-2, 14 Kos) with some heavy combinations and stopping him in the second round. EASYYY WORK! It was a total mismatch with no resistance whatsoever. The Kid is a “Beast” inside that squared circle hands down. With this win Jermall became Interim WBC Middleweight Champion and now mandatory to Gennady Golovkin.
The Middleweight Division just got shook with this one cause your Boy Charlo is coming for that No.1 Spot.
Congratulations Champ you are officially a Two-Time and Two-Division World Champion on the come up!
In the main event, in a catch–weight at 144 pounds, Adrian “The Problem” Broner (33-3-1 24 Kos) and Jessie Vargas (28-2-2, 10 Kos) battled to a controversial majority draw.
Real Talk! This bout was tight from start to finish; Broner performed way better than his last two outings in my eyes. He looked fit strong and his energy was much better. Vargas was on point early but seemed to be fading as the rounds wore on. Dude is tough though he never gave up when sh*t got popping. Kid definitely got heart.
Personally, I think that if Broner would have let his hands go just a little bit more sh*t would have been clear to all three judges. That being said a draw is not a loss and both can do it over again if need be.
Bottom line this was a good night of Boxing.
