On The Watch “It’s All About Chris Billam-Smith vs Ryan Rozicki”

Cruiserweight Showdown

Today’s Zuffa Boxing Cruiserweight Main Event between Chris “The Gentleman” Bilam-Smith (22-2, 14 Kos) and our own Canadian Ryan “The Bruiser” Rozicki (21-2-1, 20 Kos) was a very entertaining bout but did not have the outcome I expected at the Bournemouth International Centre. Real Talk!

Rozicki came out the gate with his usual aggressive self, looking to take out Billam-Smith with some very heavy shots but to my surprise, Billam-Smith stayed cool and calm and stood his ground quite impressively, never waving while hammering some very good precise shots of his own.

Rozicki showed his sturdiness but was met, surprisingly, with an opponent who was smart with his approach and just as sturdy. Both combatants banged heavy on one another and stunning each other back and forth turning this bout into a straight shootout.

Both combatants fought in the pocket with Billam-Smith getting the better out of Rozicki who got touched up with some heavy head shots due to his lack of defense that costed him dearly as the rounds progressed.

I don’t think Rozicki was expecting Billam-Smith to withstand his onslaught but Billam-Smith came in this bout with the right frame of mind and the determination and strength needed to get through this battle.

By the seventh round, Billam-Smith stepped his game up and put up a series of damaging combination punches that had Rozicki staggering but still moving forward eating nothing but clean head shots. The inevitable was near.

Due to a tougher than expected seventh round Rozicki’s, corner decided to pull their fighter from taking any further punishment. It was a brutal bout for both combatants but the right decision was definitely made.

With this very impressive win now under his belt, Chris Billam-Smith is right back into the mix in the Cruiserweight Division positioning himself for another World Title opportunity.

Well done, Chris!

On The Watch “It’s All About The NBA FINALS 2026”

The NBA Finals 2026

With the completion of the NBA’s version of the Final 4 now officially over, the two remaining contestants representing their respective coasts are the No. 2 Seeded San Antonio Spurs representing the WESTSIDE and the No. 3 Seeded New York Knicks representing the EASTSIDE. Real Talk!

The Spurs have been on the come up all season long and stayed true to their quest by bouncing the Defending Champions Oklahoma City in a competitive back and forth series and a decisive game 7. The Spurs have arrived. Them Boys are not to play with. The Spurs, anchored by Victor Wembanyama leading the charge, are looking like a sure shot for a new NBA Championship team on the horizon.

However, standing in their way are the surging Knicks who have been on a tear throughout the Playoffs. Currently on a 11-game winning streak and fresh of their second back-to-back sweep. Them Boys are in sync and committed from all corners. This squad seems to have found the right winning formula and are ready to test it out against a very solid squad in San Antonio.

Truth be told, the Spurs have had the toughest series leading up to the Finals and have looked very dominant on both ends of the floor. New York will definitely have their hands full in this series but that makes this Finals throwdown very interesting. Like the Spurs, the New York Knicks are also mission driven and with Jalen Brunson leading the pack, their confidence is on 100%.

Both Squads or on that “Hunger Games” mentality coming in these Finals “HOT” knowing what’s at stake but there can only be one Champion crowned when it’s all said and done. Tune in this Wednesday night June 3, 2026, live on ABC for Game 1 of the NBA Finals.

On The Watch “It’s All About O’Shaquie Foster vs Raymond Ford”

WBC Super Featherweight Challenge

In last night’s Matchroom/DAZN Main event WBC Super Featherweight Champion O’Shaquie “Ice Water” Foster (25-3, 12 Kos) had himself another exceptional performance when he took on highly rated challenger Raymond “Savage” Ford (18-2-1, 8 Kos) at the Fertitta Center in Houston, Texas.

Them two warriors came out the gate aggressively with some built up aggression banging on one another with absolutely no respect. The trash talking towards the build-up to this bout was heavy and both combatants had something to prove. While many pundits anticipated Raymond giving O’Shaquie some serious problems, it was actually O’Shaquie who pressed the action the best and showed levels above Raymond as the rounds progressed.

O’Shaquie stayed active with his hands, throwing combinations and keeping that pressure on 100% from all angles. O’Shaquie boxed intelligently and kept Raymond off beat and unable to stay consistent with his own work. Truth be told, Raymond had some moments throughout the night but not enough to capitalize on them.

O’Shaquie’s ring generalship was on point and was a key factor that helped him carry over in the championship rounds. The better work was clearly coming from O’Shaquie’s hands.

After 12 rounds of action, the Judges at hand scored it 118-110, 116-112 and 114-114 (suspect), resulting in a majority decision for O’Shaquie Foster.

With this convincing win under his belt, O’Shaquie retained his WBC Super Featherweight Title and called out newly crowned WBO/Ring Magazine Junior Welterweight Champion Shakur Stevenson (25-0, 11 Kos) to a showdown in either the Super Featherweight Division or the Junior Welterweight Division.

O’Shaquie is talking that talk and looking for that work with Shakur by any means necessary.

The ball is in Shakur’s court- let’s see if he wants next.
